During January of 2022, we had an amazing trip to the Dominican Republic with 27 TCU students and over 900 patients seen. For this trip we had numerous sponsors including FIGS.

They are committed to giving back and have the Threads for Threads initiative to donate scrubs to healthcare professionals who work in resource-poor countries and lack the proper uniforms to do their jobs safely.

FIGS was kind enough to provide each of our students with 2 free sets of scrubs and each of the GMT doctors in the Domician Republic with a free set as well. As our previous scrubs donations, this amazing donation from FIGS greatly lessened the financial burden on our undergraduate students and doctors that participated in our trip. These scrubs were incredibly comfortable and funcational, and allowed our students and doctors to feel their best so that they were able to focus on their patient’s and their needs. Again, we are so appreciative of FIGS for this donation and their support of Fort Worth GMT.
